What did u do before being in adult films?
I was a mainstream actor and had bit parts in programmes such as Hollyoaks, Emmerdale
and Heartbeat.
What made you get into the adult industry?
It wasn’t an intentional thing. I’d done a bit of modelling because I was pretty
toned at the time and it kind of progressed from there really. I was asked if I’d
do some soft top shelf photo shoots, which then led onto hard stuff and then porn.
Does sex on screen affect your personal sex life?
No not really. I’m single at the moment but I do find it difficult to meet ‘nice
girls’ because ‘nice girls’ don’t want to go out with a porn star.

What was your funniest experience on set?
For some reason I seem to be cast in a lot of comedy roles. There’s this one scene
in ‘the two jonnies’ that springs to mind, when I’m dressed in a chicken costume
squawking in public and for another I’m dressed up as a banana!
What’s your favourite Television X Sex scene?
I loved filming The Two Jonnies and ‘Tony’s Totty Tales’. It was just
so much fun, it was all ad hoc and we just had such a laugh producing it.
Do you watch yourself have sex?
No – and I don’t even watch porn. I can’t take it seriously because all my mates
are in it and I know everyone.
What do you do in your spare time?
My great passion is writing and I’ve spent 5 years scripting a film, which has been
accepted in LA. It’s called ‘Epiphany’ and it’s about the secrets of the universe.
I also enjoy going to the gym but I find I don’t get as much time as I’d like to
do that anymore.
What's next for Tony James?
Well obviously I’d like to continue writing but I would also like to get into producing
and directing my own porn series. I’m currently working on TVX Callgirls which I
love doing cos it’s a great show and all the girls are so much fun.
